Lubrication Greases
Lubricating Greases are used to reduce mechanical friction and wear in equipment with more heavy-duty operating conditions in industries. Lubricating greases consist of:
- Base oil 70-90%
- Thickener 5-25%
- Solid lubricant 0-5%
- Additives 0-10%
Lubricating Greases are recommended for use in the following situations:
- When it is desired for the lubricant not to drip
- When it is desired to reduce the lubricating frequency
- When there are stop-start operations
- Extreme conditions
o High temperature
o High load
o High speed
- When it is desired to reduce the noise
